Learnt many new things about blogs today. And took action on somethings I wanted to do for a while!
Feedburner: Added my feed to FeedBurner. http://feeds.feedburner.com/EntreprenuerGeek. FeedBurner provides nice statistics and browser compatibility. I like the way they format the RSS file.
What is a blook? A blook is a book that is written over a blog. Chapters are posted on the blog and you can read it, tag it, comment on it. You can even use your RSS Aggregator to read the book chapters. Checkout hackoff.com – a murder mystery setup in the dot com bubble burst time. Read more about blook on Wikipedia.
RSS Aggregators: I wanted an RSS aggregator for long. I had tried some tools earlier but they did not work well. Then I used Google Reader and liked it. But after a few days of use, I was annoyed by the bugs it seems to have (it’s still in beta), so wanted something else. Looking for some desktop client, I came to this huge list of News / RSS aggregators. There are so many of them! Reviewed a few. I liked Omea, BottomFeeder and am finally using RSS Feeder.Net right now. Let’s see how it goes! One important reason why I chose RSS Feeder.Net was its support to post blogs from within. This does not seem to work with my WordPress installation right now, and I will have to look into the error it’s giving me.
Hmm.. quite a long blog ride today!
There’s a plugin (ships with BottomFeeder) for blog posting – there’s a “blog it” menu pick right in the content area that uses it. It supports MetaWebLog API, Blogger API, and the MT API
Thanks James! I missed writing that in the original post. I liked the way BottomFeeder does it, but liked the UI of RSSFeeder better 🙂 I like BottomFeeder for its cross platform compatibility. I think I will try it soon!

Hi Nirav,
Nice post !
I would also like to inform you about this new tool which acts as a blog reader.
It can be customized and branded according to the rss you feed in.
Check it out at http://www.jvwinc.com/blog-exprss.php

ASHISH T.
I am going to try out Blam next. It’s in Mono, and I like Mono 🙂
Ashish, thanks for the post, your app looks good. But I personally feel it’s trying to do too much. You could also work on the UI.
