Trust and religious faith

People believe in preachers’ words without questioning. My mom would say xyz is said by the God, so I won’t question it, I just believe in it. And I would keep on asking her questions about why a thing this way and why a thing that?

I try to logically reason out religious beliefs. I think over the thousands of years that the religion is in existence, it must have been distorted by people for their own benefits. Why should I do something that’s not appropriate with the times?

And then I realized.

Trusting somebody, having a strong religious faith, unquestioned acceptance of your religious leader – it’s all a personal choice. You choose to believe, and are responsible for it. You question and try to find the reality, you will choose to believe it or not a little bit later. There is nothing for real; it’s all in the language. The religion occurs in language. The world occurs in language.
