The Studio 8 copy has been lying around in office for a few days now, Vaishali installed it on her laptop today. The out of the box experience was great. The first thing she noticed was better installation selection screen and even cleaner splash screens. She even tried the file upload procedure and was happy with the way it was implemented. File upload from within Flash is one thing we had been waiting for!
Then there was a snag. The thing just did not accept our previous serial number! Studio 8 is an upgrade for us and it did not accept our MX 2004 serial key. I guess that would be because our MX 2004 key was an upgrade from MX, which was from the Web Design Studio 😉 Well, if I knew about it earlier, we could have done something else. We have even lost the original CD (and hence the serial number) of the full version MX 2004 so couldn’t proceed.
As soon as Vaishali went away, I tried my hands on Flash 8! And I was pleased with the expressions! Overall it looks like a very good product. More is yet to come!
