Power of intention and declaration

During the Landmark Advanced course, we learnt that there is great power in language. Language is the source of all creation. If you declare something and commit to it, it will come true.

I worked with a colleague. We declared the future about a presentation he was going to take. We declared it will be the best presentation he has ever taken, audience will like it and he will feel really good about it. Now this person was really taking a presentation for the first time. Public speaking for the first time, you can imagine the fear he would have. But he declared the future and committed to it. And that is exactly what happened.

I have experienced this not one, but many times in the last three months. What I intend to, declare and enroll others into, becomes reality. I started with smaller things and now see that even larger goals too are achieved.

Magnet’s Saturday Blast event is another example. We intended and declared it as something people remember for their life time. We set out to make it an extremely engaging and entertaining event. We were a little skeptical about this for a moment, but then sent out this invitation.

Get ready for joyride you have never imagined! We are committed to make this Saturday your most memorable day in Magnet. Look out for a day full of fun, masti, action, music, learning, mazaa, food and lots of excitement. So set your pulse racing, fasten the seat belts and be there on Saturday at 9:00 AM.

We promise an experience of a lifetime!

Of course intention and declaration is not enough. We had to take action. But we were completely driven by this declaration and did everything to make sure it worked out. The whole Magnet team was excited after this announcement and we did have the butterflies at the start of the day on whether we will be able to fulfill on the promise we made.

The feedback from people says we made it!
